The conference will address counter-proliferation challenges and opportunities within the Caribbean Maritime space, conventional arms and missile embargoes; financial sanctions and disruption of links to international banking systems as well as UN Security Council resolutions related to the DPRK and Iran, with specific focus on weapons of mass destruction. The initiative will serve as the foundation for building institutional knowledge; inform policy solutions and provide training to professionals engaged in counter proliferation fields. The target audience for the conference is mid and senior-level professionals and policy makers in fields relevant to counter proliferation from the region, including Customs, Maritime, Aviation, the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Defence Force.
